Jody Dushay, MD, MEd, MMSc
Dr. Jody Dushay, originally from Rochester, NY, earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard College where she studied Biological Anthropology and Women's Studies. After college she pursued a Master’s in Education, and then changed paths and earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dushay completed internal medicine training and an endocrine fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Her clinical practice and research focus on obesity and metabolic disease. She is most inspired by helping patients set and achieve goals to improve their long term health. Outside of work, Dr. Dushay loves to travel with her family and compete in triathlons
Katherine Mitchell, RD, LDN
Kate was born and raised in around Boston and studied dietetics, food science and public health at University of Massachusetts Amherst. She then went on to completed her year of dietetic training at Massachusetts General Hospital with a focus on clinical inpatient and outpatient nutrition. Kate is fascinated by the science of food and behavior change and enjoys helping patients find what health looks like for them. When not working, she enjoys biking, photography, and painting with watercolors.
Nicole Aucoin, MS, RD, LDN

Nicole was raised in Wilmington, MA and earned her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from University of Rhode Island in 2018. After college, she pursued a combined Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship program also at URI. Nicole completed her training at various facilities in Providence, RI including The Miriam Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital. Nicole is very passionate about helping others achieve their goals and to inspiring them to live a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and movement. In her free time, Nicole loves to cook and spend time with her family and friends.
Marlene DaCosta, MA
ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Wellcoaches® Certified Health and Wellness Coach
Marlene is an Exercise Physiologist with Home Base, a Massachusetts General Hospital program dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war (traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress) for veterans. Before joining Home Base, Marlene worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Tanger Be Well Center as an Exercise Physiologist, and later promoted to Manager. Marlene’s time at Be Well cemented her passion for working with a variety of clinical populations including cancer, HIV, pre- and post-natal, chronic pain, and bariatric surgery patients. Marlene holds a master’s degree in education with a concentration in fitness management from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in health education with a minor in exercise science from Pennsylvania State University. She is also the owner and founder of Serape Fitness and Wellness, a business that provides in-home and virtual personal training, and health and wellness coaching services to clients in the Greater Boston Area.
